BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Hiral Parekh is board-certified in medical oncology and practices at our Northside location.

Originally from India, Dr. Parekh received her medical degree from Govt Medical College in Surat, India. After moving to America, she completed her residency and two fellowships at the University of Oklahoma and Cleveland Clinic.

“The field of hematology and oncology is exciting and challenging, at the same time”, Dr. Parekh says. “The emotional turmoil after a cancer diagnosis is hard to describe. However, helping someone face the biggest challenge of their life feels incredibly fulfilling.” She strives to be available to her patients 24/7 “as a physician and as a friend”.

Dr. Parekh strives to empower her patients by providing them with a wealth of information. “As their physician, I want to fully support them, whether it’s medically, emotionally, or socially,” she says. “It is important that they understand all aspects of their care and that what I am doing aligns with what they want.”

“It is my honor to care for cancer patients and welcome them into my family,” Dr. Parekh says. “I consider that it is my responsibility to hold their hand, walk with them during their journey, and provide them with full support”.

Dr. Parekh provides complete care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, including solid tumor and colorectal, lung, and breast cancers.

When not at work, Dr. Parekh enjoys traveling, cooking, sketching and painting, and seeing the world through the eyes of her young daughters.

If you are satisfied with your care, please consider leaving Dr. Parekh a review!
