BIRENDRA KC, MD

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Birendra KC is board certified in medical oncology and hematology, and practices at our St. Augustine and Nocatee locations. Born and raised in Nepal, Dr. KC obtained his undergraduate degree from Calcutta Medical College in West Bengal, India. He completed his residency at Michigan State University and did a year of leukemia fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Subsequently, he went on to be the Chief Hematology Oncology Fellow at Levine Cancer institute. During his fellowship, he also received an outstanding fellow award from North Carolina Oncology Association

“Cancer is such a horrifying diagnosis for not only the patient, but also for their entire family. I consider it a huge privilege to be able to help and take care of a patient and their entire family during the most difficult time of their lives” says Dr. KC; “I’m very passionate about what I do.”

“I feel so proud and honored to be a part of a team which always puts the interests of the patients first. I love and enjoy the family environment” says Dr. KC in regards to the CSNF atmosphere.  In his free time, Dr. KC enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, and cycling.
