BIOGRAPHY

Amber Feinman, DO is board certified in medical oncology and practices at our Clay location.

A Florida native, Dr. Feinman earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science at Florida Atlantic University. She later earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University. After graduation, Dr. Feinman completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Navy Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.

When she left the Navy, Dr. Feinman and her husband chose to settle in Jacksonville. “My mom, stepdad, brothers, nieces and nephews all live in town, and the rest of my family is within driving distance,” says Dr. Feinman. “It’s like I tell my patients: stay close to family, or people who feel like family. It’s essential, especially in hard times.”

This is why Dr. Feinman tries to treat every patient like family.

“The relationships I form with my patients is my favorite part of my job,” she says. Being able to welcome them into my “family” during a hard time lets me make a positive impact. It goes beyond treating their cancer. I’ve found that one of the most important things that I can do for them is just listen – it can be profoundly therapeutic.”

CSNF’s mission of delivering personalized care, close to home, stood out to Dr. Feinman, and in part, drew her to the company.

“I’m so impressed with how successful the practice is,” she explains. “It is a true testament to the top-quality care patients are receiving, both physically and mentally. I’m thrilled to have found the CSNF family. It is a privilege and an honor to be part of so many patients’ stories.

Dr. Feinman provides complete care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, including lung, breast and colon cancers, and iron deficiency.

When not in the office, Dr. Feinman enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, ages one and three. Together, they enjoy visiting petting zoos, children’s museums, getting ice cream and spending time outdoors.

If you are satisfied with your care, please consider leaving Dr. Feinman a review!
