Dr. Birendra KC is board certified in medical oncology and practices at CSNF’s St. Augustine location.
Born and raised in Nepal, Dr. KC obtained his undergraduate degree from Calcutta Medical College in West Bengal, India. He completed one year of leukemia fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He later went to be the Chief of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Levine Cancer Institute.
“Cancer is such a horrifying diagnosis for a patient and their family,” Dr. KC says. “I consider it a huge privilege to be able to help and take care of them during such a difficult time.”
Passionate about his work, Dr. KC says:
“I feel so proud and honored to be a part of a team which always puts the interests of the patients first. I love and enjoy working in a family environment.”
Dr. KC provides complete care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, including lung, breast, and colon cancers, and leukemia.
In his free time, Dr. KC enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, and cycling.
