Dr. Sahana Kalmadi is board certified in medical oncology and practices at CSNF’s Baptist South location.

Dr. Kalmadi earned her Doctor of Medicine from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. Before moving to America and changing specialties, Dr. Kalmadi spent her early career as a gynecologist.

After several years as an assistant professor at the University of Florida, Dr. Kalmadi joined CSNF in 2006.

“I enjoy getting to know different people and their backgrounds,” she says. “It makes my job interesting and gives me new ideas and skills to help others.”

After 20 years at CSNF, Dr. Kalmadi still feels immense pride in her profession. “Helping my patients reach their goals gives me so much pride,” she says. “I consider myself extremely lucky.”

Dr. Kalmadi provides complete care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, including lung, breast, colon, and esophageal cancers.

When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing video games.
