SAMANTHA FISH, FNP-BC

BIOGRAPHY

Samantha Fish, FNP-BC is an advanced practitioner at our Southpoint location. Originally from Indiana, Samantha received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne before moving south to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Jacksonville University.

A former ICU nurse, Samantha is passionate about making sure every patient feels safe and receives the best care possible. “My goal is to ensure that every patient receives the individualized and holistic care that they deserve,” she says, “and that’s one of the things that drew me to CSNF – everyone here truly puts the patients and their families first, above all else.”

When Samantha was in college, her grandfather was diagnosed with lymphoma. “I was fortunate enough to be by his side during the course of his treatment, and learned so much during that time, including empathy, patience, and understanding,” she says.

“It’s an experience that changes you and shows you just how resilient cancer patients are,” she further explains. “I think the most important thing that it instilled in me is that patients are far more than a diagnosis and deserve compassionate, high-quality care.”

When not in the office, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, and spending time fishing or at the beach.
