“I like to get to know my patients and understand what is important to them,” Dr. Salamekh says. “It is how I best explain the process in a way that alleviates their concerns.”
“I would like my patients to feel comfortable asking questions regarding any aspect of their care. Cancer treatment is both individualized and different from what most patients have previously experienced. I want them to feel informed throughout the process.”
“I’m so happy to have taken part in so many patients cancer journeys,” he adds. “Their stories provide constant motivation to seek the latest breakthroughs and participate in research that improves treatment.”
In his free time, Dr. Salamekh enjoys running, going to the beach, and spending time with his family.
