Dr. Unni Thomas is board-certified in medical oncology and practices at our Southside location.

Dr. Thomas grew up in India in a family of physicians. He received both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Medicine from Madras Medical College in Chennai.

After losing his father to metastatic prostate cancer, he began to consider oncology as a career. “My father’s oncologists inspired me,” he says. “They were intelligent and compassionate – two qualities that have guided me in my own practice.”

“I wanted to join a practice where staying on top of cancer care developments and treating patients with compassion was the norm,” he says. “I found that with CSNF – I joined a practice that would put patients and their best care options first, no matter what.”

Dr. Thomas provides complete care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, including prostate, bladder, colon, and pancreatic cancers.

When not in the office or playing his favorite spot, golf, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
