Linda Theuerkorn is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at our Clay location. Linda earned her Master of Science in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011 at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduation, she received extensive training in symptom management (including pain) while working in two different palliative care inpatient units at a large hospital. She then transitioned to oncology and worked for 7 years at an oncology clinic in Asheboro NC. She also has had experience working with hospice, both the symptom management and hospice experience has been beneficial when working with oncology patients.

Her philosophy when it comes to helping patients is to treat them the way she would want to be treated. She says: “I’m very honest with my patients; I want to tell them the truth, even if it hurts, so that they can prepare and ask all necessary questions. The feeling of helping a patient understand what they are going through and helping them navigate it is euphoric. I love knowing I have done some good in someone’s life”.

When not in the office, Linda enjoys spending time with family, watching the NFL, riding her bike, or playing golf.
