Chelsea Holmes, ARNP, is an advanced practitioner at our Northside location. After receiving her BS in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, she earned her Master of Science from the University of Texas at Arlington and became an APRN.
At age 30, when her daughter was just four weeks old, Chelsea was diagnosed with breast cancer. “I truly understand the difficulties and stressors that come with a cancer diagnosis and treatment,” she says. “I strive to always use my skills and personal experience to support my patients and their families.”
“I believe in treating the whole person,” she explains. “This means not only addressing physical symptoms but also acknowledging emotional, social, and psychological aspects of their health.”
Chelsea believes it’s important to empower patients with knowledge and encourage them to advocate for themselves. “The physicians I work with, and everyone here at CSNF, does a great job ensuring that patients are fully informed and are active participants in their treatment,” she says. “It’s something that really drew me to the company — it’s not just a place for treatment, but rather a community where people can come together and feel like they’re part of a caring and supportive family.”
When not in the office, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. They love visiting the zoo, working in the garden, and playing and reading books together.
