Kimberly is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who works at our Southside office.  Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, she moved to Jacksonville in 2012.  She loves being able to be there for her patients on good and not-so-good days, reassuring them and their families that they are not alone.  “I strive to make them feel better and improve their quality of life, even when they are often battling a difficult disease,” she says.

When it comes to taking care of patients, Kimberly treats them as she would like her family to be treated.  Personally, she has encountered cancer with loved ones and feels that being on the other side of the spectrum has given her the opportunity to see things from a different perspective.  “It has given me a better understanding of how frightening a new diagnosis or treatment can be and the importance of providing support, both physically and emotionally, to the patient and their family,” she says.

While working as an inpatient nurse in oncology , she has observed many physicians and their interactions with patients.  The way CSNF providers care for and interact with their patients truly caught her eye.  She’s thankful for the opportunity to work with such great staff, as she believes everyone encompasses the same values and puts the patient first.

When not at the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her daughter outside, whether at the zoo, the park, or the beach.  She also enjoys going up north and visiting family when she has the chance.
