Dr. Leann Fox is board-certified in medical oncology and practices at our Riverside and Macclenny locations. Originally from South Florida, Dr. Fox completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Auburn University before obtaining her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Alabama. After completing two fellowships in hematology/oncology, Dr. Fox joined CSNF as one of its first physicians in 1994.

With over 17 years of clinical research experience and 25 years as an oncologist, Dr. Fox is incredibly passionate about sharing the oncology field’s advancements with her patients. “The advancements that this field has made in the past several years alone has been incredible,” she says, “and it’s very special to be able to provide those to our patients.”

At the end of the day, Dr. Fox is most proud of what her team was able to do for a particular patient that day: “it’s not just about the doctor- it’s about the front desk staff, our amazing nurses and incredible social workers; all of those people work just as hard as I do to provide the patient with the best experience, day in and day out.”

When not at work, Dr. Fox enjoys spending time with her husband and two grown children. She also recently started fostering kittens from the Humane Society, which has quickly become a favorite past-time.
