Linda Wilson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Southpoint location. Linda earned her Bachelor of Science in Family & Child Sciences from Florida State University, before receiving her Master of Social Work from Barry University.
A Jacksonville native, Linda is committed to serving the residents of North Florida and refers to social work as her “calling”. “I have a passion to help and empower others, and I love making a difference in someone’s life,” she says.
Having had loved ones affected by cancer, she has seen first-hand the courage, resiliency, and faith that cancer patients put forth. “It inspires me,” she says, “and their legacies fuel my desire to be a beacon of hope for others.”
“It gives me such joy to help a patient live a longer and healthier life,” she says, continuing:
“It’s a privilege to be able to learn about people’s lives, meet family members, and learn of people’s wishes, feelings, choices, and preferences along their healing journey. Every day I leave work knowing I’ve made an impact in someone’s life- there is no better feeling.”
When not in the office, Linda enjoys running, dancing, traveling, and being active in the cooking ministry at her church.
