At CSNF, counseling services are provided by Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs)—mental health professionals trained to support patients and families through the emotional challenges of cancer. They offer individual and group therapy, as well as guidance on financial, emotional, and practical concerns.
While not required, we strongly encourage all patients and caregivers to meet with a social worker. A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, and regular check-ins can provide emotional support, clarity in decision-making, and helpful resources.
If you’re facing stress, conflict, anxiety, or simply need someone to talk to, our social workers are here to help. To schedule an appointment, just ask a member of your care team.
